If you’ve been on TikTok, you know there’s micro-communities that the algorithm sorts you into. You might be apart of #BookTok, #SwiftieTok, #AltTok — the possibilites are infinite. Which means, of course, there’s a #ChristianTok.
#ChristianTok is made up of comedians, worship artists and even just regular people who offer unique insight into Christian living. There’s a lot of great content creators out there, but we rounded up a few of accounts that are definitely worth following (if you’re not already).
Hillary Phillips has a great blend of humor and positive encouragement. From reenacting Noah’s stress while building the Ark to being open and honest about the struggles of being single, Phillips’ videos will have you smiling the entire time you scroll.
Ki.Alexis is an artist you’ll definitely want to keep your eye on. She creates chill worship music about her journey with God through life and they speak straight to your soul. But on top of her great voice, she’s also got a hilarious side that makes her a must follow.
am i the only one, that be fighting to stay focus at times. 😅 #christiantiktok
If you’ve been in church for more than a minute, chances are you’ve met a few common characters: Church Chad, Season of Singleness Girl, the self-proclaimed Religious Studies Expert. They’re all people who seem to have their heart in the right place, but are maybe just a bit misguided on the delivery. And Josh Benson has clearly met all of these characters, because his feed is dedicated to poking fun at them while reminding others that not all Christians are the same.
Abby_was_bored started creating TikToks about the Bible for fun, but quickly realized she had a knack for showing the humor in Scripture and in church culture. She reenacts everything from Bible stories, her time at a Christian college, even her personal experiences with God in a light-hearted and hilariously relatable way.
Ariel Fitz brings the stories from the bible to life in a unique way. She makes studying Scriptures fun for new and old believers alike by creating fun videos you can’t stop watching.
“PREACHERS ARE PEOPLE TOO!” That’s the first line of Lee Snow’s bio, and it perfectly encapsulates his message. Snow is an actual preacher and he’s set out to remind the Church that there’s no perfect pastors. They’re just like every other Christian — a little flawed but trying their best to point others to God.
Lacy Abercrombie blew up quickly after posting videos in her “alter ego” Jezziebeth. Jezziebeth is someone that we all know well, the Christian woman who constantly reminds everyone that while she’s in her season of singleness, all she needs is Jesus and some coffee. Abercrombie posts funny videos about church culture, while also getting real and honest about what it’s really like to be a believer.
Joshua Brennt is another artist to watch out for. He’s been creating Christian music for a while now, but in between recording sessions he makes time to post some hilarious videos. Check out his page and get ready for him to take over the Christian airwaves.
