Netflix continues to step up their game with original content.
Today, they’ve released a trailer for their new film IO, which takes place in the near future, after earth’s atmosphere turns toxic.
The cataclysmic event forces humanity to flee to one of Jupiter’s moons, but two young survivors have stayed behind, and are attempting to make it out alive. The series stars Death Note‘s Margaret Qualley and Anthony Mackie, from the Marvel movies. The series looks pretty intense, very sad and possibly beautiful in various turns.
The movie releases later this month.
