Mumford and Sons gave Austin City Limits Muscial Festival attendees two surprises during their headlining show.
The band not only debuted a new song, “Maybe,” during their set, but they also invited Noah Kahan to join them on the main stage.
Frontman Marcus Mumford and Kahan, who rose to fame with his TikTok-viral song “Stick Season,” traded vocals during the stripped-down performance, which Mumford shared they’d only rehearsed once earlier that day.

Both Mumford and Kahan shared fan-shot snippets of their performance on Instagram.
“ACL, thanks for bringing me back to the light,” Kahan wrote. “One of my favorite shows of all time. For a moment it all felt simple again. Mumford and Sons, I have loved you my whole life. Thank you for allowing me to share the (very high up) stage with you. There is no us without you!”
