Talk about stacked. Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart announced this morning that they’ll be going on a joint stand-up comedy tour this summer. The two legends of TV and stage will have a seven-show run in June. (h/t Rolling Stone)
Stewart turned Comedy Central’s The Daily Show into a Hall of Fame-level comedy staple, and Chappelle became a legend in his own right for his cutting jokes and legendary run with Chappelle’s Show.
Together, their combined powers could be too great for one stage, or one crowd, or one city to handle. One thing’s for sure: These guys are going to talk about politics, the present and problems in America. Keep your ear to the ground. These shows could become legendary.
