Rainn Wilson is doing everything he can to protest climate change, including changing his name. Wait, what?
The Office star announced on Wednesday in a Twitter video that he has changed his name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson to bring more awareness to climate change. It’s no “Recyclops,” but it does get the point across.

Wilson changed his name via a website called Arctic Risk Name Generator which encourages visitors to become an “Arctic game changer.” The actor and activist is a board member of Arctic Basecamp, an organization focused on bringing awareness to the melting polar caps.
“What happens in the Arctic, doesn’t stay in the Arctic,” Wilson warns.
The actor said his name is “not a joke,” but it’s unclear whether he has made any real plans to change his name on legal documents. Someone should probably tell him you can’t just say a change like that, and it doesn’t matter if you declare it, either.
