‘The Chosen’ Will Premiere All of Season 4 in Theaters

The Chosen is breaking the mold of traditional TV shows by premiering every episode of its upcoming season in theaters.

According to Deadline, the show will release every episode of its fourth season will premiere in theaters in the United States and Canada beginning in February.

Created by Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen offers a unique perspective on the life of Jesus Christ and his disciples. In the previous season, fans filled theaters to watch the season’s premiere and finale episodes, exceeding box office expectations. Now, they’ll have the chance to watch the entire season.

The rollout of Season 4 in theaters will begin with a two-week run of Episodes 1-3 on Feb. 1, 2024, followed by Episodes 4-6 in theaters beginning Feb. 15, and Episodes 7-8 beginning Feb. 29 in the U.S. and Canada. The premiere episodes will also be released in theaters in Latin America, the United Kingdom, Poland, Australia and New Zealand.

Following the full-season run in theaters, The Chosen will debut on streaming platforms, including The Chosen TV and mobile apps, broadcast and cable TV.

The Chosen was one of a few productions granted an exemption from the writers’ and actors’ strike over the summer, allowing the show to wrap up its fourth season.

Jenkins has shared the upcoming seasons is all about clashing kingdoms and rival rulers, as Jesus’ enemies close in on Him while His disciples struggle to keep up, leaving Him to carry the burden alone.
