A $5.99 T-Shirt Will Get You Free Denny’s Breakfast For a Year

The best Black Friday deal has already dropped.

Denny’s is selling a T-shirt for $5.99 that will grant wearers access to free breakfast at any location for a year.

Each T-shirt has a unique QR code sewn directly onto the sleeve for customers to redeem their free breakfast. Wearers can redeem the free breakfast — an “Everyday Value Slam” consisting of two eggs, two strips of bacon or sausage strips, and customer’s choice of either two buttermilk pancakes, one slice of French toast, or a biscuit and gravy — every day for a whole year.

According to our calculations, that makes the total value of the T-shirt $2,186.

Denny’s president John Dillion shared the “wearable coupon” is a response to the ongoing inflation crisis. The company wanted to help customers in a unique way.

“This year has been particularly tough on Americans’ wallets,” said Dillon. “At Denny’s, we’re always looking for new ways to provide value for our diners while delighting them with delicious food, so creating an innovative, first-of-its-kind wearable offer to unveil on Black Friday was a natural decision for us.”

Of course, there is a catch: the restaurant chain is only selling 150 shirts. Customers will have one chance battle it out online starting at midnight ET on Nov. 24. It could be the fight to end all Denny’s fights.
