A horrific scene unfolded this weekend in Lahore when terrorists from the group Pakistani Taliban detonated a blast that killed at least 69 people and injured hundreds more in a park. According to a statement from the group, their intent was to target Christians who were celebrating Easter. The group had previously declared that it was loyal to ISIS. Many of those killed in the bombing at the local park were women and children. Christians are less than 2% of the entire population of the country, and routinely face violence from Islamic extremists. According to a report in Reuters, the Army Rangers will be helping to conduct raids in the region against the terrorists.
