Florida State University’s mascot has long been Chief Osceola and his horse, Renegade. But that has come under fire in the last several decades as people realized it’s pretty offensive to use an entire subjugated people group as a sports symbol. FSU has been fazing out Osceola’s use at all other sporting events but football and will now use this My Little Pony-ish monstrosity.
