The U.S. military has commissioned a group of scientist and MIT researchers to create a real-life Iron Man suit. The “Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit” will contain a bunch of insane gadgets and features (similar to the comic books), including a superhuman strength booster, night vision, the ability to repel bullets and, something called “liquid armor” that can reportedly turn “liquid to solid in milliseconds when a magnetic field or electrical current is applied” (whatever that means). The suit’s onboard computer evidently also comes with built-in spidey-senses: According to The Verge, the built-in motherboard “would be able to instantly respond to certain situations and provide the user with enhanced situational awareness.” We have a feeling there will soon be a spike in Army enlistment numbers …
