The family and friends of 17-year-old Claire Davis have launched a #PrayforClaire Twitter campaign, as users from around the world post their thoughts and prayers for the school shooting victim. Police say that on Friday, a student in Colorado brought a shotgun to school, and when he couldn’t find the librarian he intended to confront, the gunman shot Claire Davis in the head instead. Authorities told CNN that they believe it was a random of act of violence, and the two did not even know each other. Soon after, the shooter took his own life. This weekend, hundreds came out to a prayer vigil for Davis who remains in a coma and is in critical condition.
