Snoop Dogg is saying goodbye to his weed-smoking days.
“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” the rapper shared on Instagram. “Please respect my privacy at this time.”
This might come as a surprise to many, considering weed has become pretty synonymous with Snoop’s image and business success. He’s launched his own cannabis products, hired a guy whose only job is to roll his blunts, and once confessed to smoking 81 times a day.
And it looks like Snoop’s not the only one turning a new leaf. Following Snoop’s announcement, rapper Meek Mill shared he would also stop smoking as well. Meek shared it wasn’t healthy for him after his doctor informed him he has “a lil bit emphysema,” and warned him about potentially cutting his “lifeline in half” if he continued smoking.
Ima wuit once I go cold in Dubai …. Snoop start the no smoking challenge we gone follow up! It’s not healthy for me! https://t.co/NYAJ9BzJ6e
