This weekend, more than 50,000 people ran the World Vision Global 6K for Water. Thanks to their efforts, 55,000 people will be provided with clean water.
Each year, the Global 6K for Water unites runners and clean-water advocates around the world who run the race in their own communities and neighborhoods with their friends, co-workers and fellow church members.
In many parts of the developing world, women and children must walk an average of six kilometers every single day to access clean water, so in addition to raising money to help these communities, the race raises awareness about the difficulties many parts of the world face to have the resource. Every step you take is one they don’t have to.
This year, a team from RELEVANT ran the Global 6K in downtown Orlando alongside friends and readers who showed up to support this amazing cause:
And, you can still give and provide water to communities in need! Just go to WorldVision6k.org/relevant to donate today!
