Paging all Marshmallows across the universe: Mars Investigations is back in business. Beloved teen detective show Veronica Mars will make its triumphant return to Hulu next year with a brand-new eight-episode season. The streaming service will also acquire all the old seasons of the show so you can brush up (or hop on board).
Kristen Bell, set to revive her star-making role as the title character, made the announcement on Instagram:
Past seasons of the show (plus the movie!) will be available to stream starting next summer, which indicates the new season is probably about a year away. In the new season, Mars Investigations is roped into a series of murder cases against spring breakers in Neptune. Original creator Rob Thomas will executive produce and write the first episode.
