Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are back in the first teaser trailer for their upcoming movie Good Burger 2.
The sequel to the 1997 comedy Good Burger has been in talks for a while, and now fans are finally getting their first glimpse at what’s to come.
The movie follows Dexter (Thompson) and Ed (Mitchell) reuniting at their first workplace 26 years after they left, now working alongside a new group of employees. The trailer shows that not much has changed between the classic combo over the last two decades, which is exactly what we were hoping for.
Good Burger 2 is the long-awaited follow-up to the original feature that stemmed from an All That comedy sketch. Since the duo went their own ways, Thompson has become Saturday Night Live‘s longest-tenured castmember, while Mitchell took a different route and took a side gig as a youth pastor.
