Seven Albums Dropping This Spring That We Can’t Wait To Hear

Spring is just around the corner, and with some fresh weather comes some fresh new music. There’s a lot of great albums dropping latest this year, but we’re keep an extra close eye out for these seven albums coming out over the next few months.

Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd – Lana Del Rey (March 10)

Lana Del Rey Announces New Album, Shares New Song: Listen ...

Rey announced her ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, back in December and it immediately caught our attention. But maybe not for the reason you think. While we are always excited for some new Lana tracks, we’re absolutely curious about Pastor Judah Smith’s feature on the album.

City of God – Leeland (March 10)

Leeland’s newest album highlights why the band has been a staple in the worship world for the last two decades. City of God explores “a pastoral and prophetic voice of worship where songs are sung together and over the people of God.” They’ve already released a glimpse of what’s to come — “Heart & Flesh” feat. TAYA — and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

I’ve Witnessed It (Live) – Passion (March 10)

There’s something about live worship music that simply cannot be beat. And thankfully, Passion’s live worship albums from their annual conference are no different. Not only will we get to hear the worship team sing new praises, but we’ll also get to hear thousands of young adults singing along with them. We’ve got chills just thinking about it.

Come Up Here – Bethel (March 17)

Bethel Music knows how to make a good worship album. But Brian Johnson shared with RELEVANT that for this album, they wanted to strip things back to the basics, reminding everyone that what truly makes worship beautiful is the true God we’re all singing to. The worship collective has been steadily dropping singles for month, but we’re ready for the full album to be here.

The Record – boygenius (March 31)

The Record (Boygenius album) - Wikipedia
Phoebe Bridgers, Julian Baker and Lucy Dacus are combing their musical talents once again to make everyone’s favorite sad girl supergroup, boygenius. The trio previously released an album back in 2020 and have each created some stellar projects on their own over the last few years. But there’s something so special about these three coming together. We can’t wait to see what gut-wrenching songs they drop soon.

Stereo Mind Game – Daughter (April 7)

Daughter announce new LP 'Stereo Mind Game,' share “Be On Your Way” (watch video)
After seven years away, Daughter is back with a brand new album, Stereo Mind Game. The indie folk band has remained fairly tight lipped about this project, but they did tell NME that this album is set to be their “most optimistic record yet.” We’ll find out what that means very, very. soon.

First Two Pages of Frankenstein –  The National (April 28)

At long last, The National will release brand new music on their eighth studio album. The band has been busy over the last few years, collaborating with some big names that are seemingly returning the favor. Taylor Swift, Sufjan Stevens and Phoebe Bridgers have all been listed as features on the album. Not to put any pressure on the band, but we’re expecting some pretty great things from this album.
