Scientists May Have Found Another Habitable Planet

An Astronomer at NASA’s Ames Research Centre in California has found a planet—about the size of earth—with a close enough proximity to a star that it may be able to support life. At the recent Search for Life Beyond the Solar System conference (which sounds like a blast), the astronomer said that while analyzing data from the Kepler space telescope, he identified the earth-like planet in a far off galaxy. His team is planning on releasing more specifics about the discovery and its location in a detailed report later this year. For the sake of any intelligent life out there, it’s better that we find them, than they find us. They may not get the warm welcome they would expect
