Knives Out proved modern audiences have an appetite for slick whodunnits with a cast full of colorful characters, and it looks like Hollywood is ready to deliver. Just ahead of Netflix’s sequel to Rian Johnson’s hit comes See How They Run, which features a delightful ensemble for a grisly affair. Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan (who looks like she could very well steal the show) star as two gumshoes sleuthing out Adrian Brody’s killer from a suspicious lot including David Oyelowo (Selma), Harris Dickinson (Beach Rats), Ruth Wilson (His Dark Materials) and Charlie Cooper (This Country).
It’s the feature debut of director Tom George, who got raves for his work on the BBC’s This Country. Getting a slew of actors this buzzy is a big deal for a first-time feature filmmaker, but the trailer sure suggests that these actors were right to be intrigued by this new talent. See How They Run will debut in September.
