Not a Drill: Taco Bell is Testing Two New Mexican Pizzas

The holiday season just got a whole lot tastier — but only if you live in Omaha, Nebraska or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Taco Bell is using those markets to test two new versions of its beloved Mexican Pizza.

Customers in in Omaha can try the Triple Crunch Mexican Pizza, which features an extra beef-and-bean filled layer. Meanwhile in Oklahoma City, customers will get to taste test the fast-food giant’s new Cheese Jalapeno Mexican Pizza, which is topped with, you guessed it, nacho cheese sauce and jalapenos. Both pizzas will be available for a limited time starting Thursday, December 22.

It comes as no surprise that Taco Bell‘s Mexican Pizza are back in the spotlight. When the dish was added to the menu back in May, the chain sold more than 20 million of them, and by September it became a permanent menu item. The dish became so popular, in fact, that it even spawned a TikTok musical starring Dolly Parton and Doja Cat.

It’s already been a big year for Mexican Pizza, but it looks like Taco Bell has more cooking for 2023.
